Salida’s new Tiny Home Community will have all the amenities to make the perfect teeny tiny town.
Sprout Tiny Homes is one of the United State’s leading tiny house developers. Last month Sprout was granted approval from Salida to build 200 tiny house rental units on a 19-acre parcel along the Arkansas River. Making it the largest tiny home community in the U.S.Sprout Tiny Homes also plans to include a community building, an exercise facility, a restaurant and several other amenities for the tiny home community. This new plot of land will be known as “River View at Cleora.”
"The planned development for Riverview at Cleora is 200 tiny home units; a community building with catering kitchen, exercise facility and management office; a restaurant lot overlooking the river; and 96 storage units. There are plans for a walking trail to be constructed along the length of the river, two resident parks, and numerous pedestrian walk ways, resulting in approximately 2000 square feet of common green space per pod." - Sprout Tiny Homes, River View at Cleora release
Tiny Home Communities are a growing trend that mixesaffordable housing (technically speaking) with all the energy-saving amenities of a modern updated home. Sprout Tiny Homes are specifically built with structural insulated panels (SIPs) leading to “stronger, greener and straighter homes that are highly energy efficient…” The interiors are also chemical free and the houses as a whole simply encourage a healthier lifestyle overall. Check out what Rod Stambaugh, Chief “Sproutologist” of Sprout Tiny homes has to say about the homes and their new Salida Tiny Home Community:

If you’re interested in greener, cleaner, and tinier living, you should consider checking out the Salida Tiny Home Community once it’s built. I’d act fast though, Sprout Tiny Homes expects the tiny home community will be in high demand once the project breaks ground.
