The real estate market in Scottsdale is seeing an increase in luxury properties with the recent listing of a $25 million mansion in Horseshoe Canyon of Silverleaf. The 12,128-square-foot modern Mediterranean mansion, "The Lumière," was built by Salcito Custom Homes and Salcito Design Group over three years. Although the owners, the Garcia Miller Family Trust of North Bend, Washington, had planned to make it their home, they are now selling the property. According to the Phoenix Business Journal , The Lumière is a luxury estate in Scottsdale with five bedrooms, 7.5 baths, and amenities including a 300-bottle wine room, boutique closet, private gym, dual laundry rooms, and a showroom garage for up to 16 vehicles. It is the only new home available in the community, offering views of the city lights and mountain peaks from nearly every room. The 3.7-acre property features a resort-style infinity-edge pool, glass-tiled spa, and a ramada with a fireplace. Listing agent Allan MacDonald stated, "It feels like an incredible place for somebody to come home and just enjoy what Arizona offers: views of sunsets, city lights, golf and mountains everywhere." Demand for upscale homes in Phoenix is increasing, particularly from out-of-state buyers, including those from California, Chicago, and New York. Scott Grigg, owner of Grigg's Group Powered By the Altman Brothers, and Cindy Marquardt , a real estate specialist in Scottsdale with the CERTIFIED LUXURY HOME MARKETING SPECIALIST® and MILLION DOLLAR GUILD® designations, both noted this trend. Josh Peters, founder of Stately Development, mentioned that "Market volatility is less impactful on the luxury market," with properties like The Lumière continuing to attract buyers seeking luxury living in Arizona, as stated by Phoenix Business Journal .
