See this beautiful park like never before, now through February!

Just when you think Roxborough Park can't get any cooler, it goes and lights up the landscape!

The park's new Trail of Lights display will bring illumination to the winter season through the end of February. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, you can enjoy extended hours in certain sections of the park, as well as see some of it all lit up.

The Trail of Lights, sponsored by IREA, is set up on the walkway from the parking lot to the visitor center. It also includes sections around the patio and visitor center. In January, the park will stay open until 7 p.m., and it will stay open until 8 p.m. in February.

In addition to the Trail of Lights, visitors will also be allowed to hike the Fountain Valley Trail and do some amazing stargazing away from much of the light pollution of the city. The trail has some amazing scenery, including the red rock formations the park is known for. While all are encouraged to traverse the trail in the dark, you must be back at your cars by closing time. All other trails will be closed during extended hours.
