Parts of North Florida were blanketed by snow on Tuesday as a winter storm barreled through the South, resulting in the first-ever blizzard warning along parts of the Gulf Coast in Texas and Louisiana.Portions of North Florida were under a winter storm warning as snow fell in parts of the South Tuesday.A wide swath of North Florida was under a winter storm warning, and forecasters expected up to 4 inches of snow and sleet could fall, including up to 3 inches in Tallahassee. The last time it snowed in Florida’s capital was in 2018, but it lasted just 20 minutes, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.
