WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - First responders from the Wichita County Sheriff’s Office, Wichita Falls Fire Department and Wichita Falls Police Department are responding jointly to a vehicle wreck off of Central Freeway involving a semi truck.

The truck went off the road on Central Freeway, plowing through a fence before striking a tree near a residence. The cause of the wreck is unknown at this time. An ambulance transported one person from the scene with minor injuries.

The News Channel 6 crew on scene confirmed the trailer still contained live animals at the time of the wreck.

First responders were able to remove the animals from the trailer. It is unknown if any of the cattle inside were injured in the wreck.
