Med spa concept Serotonin Centers inked an 18-unit deal to develop southern Florida markets. The franchisee group LifeHub Center will open units in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Serotonin Centers , founded in 2021, has 15 locations, with six in Florida and the rest spread across seven other states. Pet care brand K9 Resorts is expanding its Florida presence with the signing of a deal including 13 locations. Existing franchisee group Luxury Pet Hotel Investments purchased two locations in Wllington and PomPano Beach, and are set to open another 11 in markets including Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Founded in 2005, K9 Resorts has more than 190 locations in 28 states. K9 Resorts is a luxury pet hotel franchise with more than 40 locations nationwide. Fast-casual brand Slim Chickens inked a 12-unit agreement to open locations in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. The agreement is with franchisee group Vigario Management Corp. , helmed by Andy Cabral, David Cabral and Marylou Vigario. The group brings experience in running 24 Dunkin’ locations and nine Baskin-Robbins stores. Established in 2003, Slim Chickens has more than 300 locations open. Electronics retailer PayMore is set to enter Colorado, starting with Denver, with the signing of a 9-unit agreement. The brand inked the deal with entrepreneur Spencer Hanks , who brings franchise experience as a Crumbl owner. Founded in 2011, PayMore ’s business model is based on resale transactions and has more than 75 locations. Fencing installation brand 76 Fence is entering Texas with the signing of a six-unit deal for the Houston market. The agreement is with Cale Dillingham , a strategist at Phillips 66, and his wife Ashley . Founded in 2020, 76 Fence has 12 locations in four states. Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café is set to grow in two states with the signing of a four-unit agreement. Husband-and-wife duo Michael and Melisa Aaron will open cafes in Arkansas and Missouri, with the first opening in fall 2025. The Aarons bring franchise experience in owning units with Sonic Drive-In and Nothing Bundt Cakes. Founded in 2012, Sweet Paris has 20 locations. California-based Mountain Mike’s Pizza is expanding on the other side of the country with a three-unit agreement for Virginia. The deal is with Niraj Hemrajani , a franchisee with a portfolio including Cold Stone Creamery, Popeyes and Subway. Hemrajani will open the restaurants in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties. Founded in 1978 and franchising since 1981, Mountain Mike’s has more than 300 units. Blaze Pizza , a fast-casual build-your-own pizza concept, signed a three-unit agreement to expand its Indiana presence. Partnering with Blaze are business partners Richie Patel and Manish Malhotra . Patel is an entrepreneur who owns several businesses including a pub, a golf simulator and a Mexican restaurant. Malhotra, meanwhile, is a franchisee with 19 units across Arby’s, Teriyaki Madness, Zaxby’s and Wings Etc. Established in 2011, Blaze Pizza has more than 300 locations across 38 states and three countries. Los Angeles-based The Red Chickz continues to expand in its home state. The Red Chickz , a Nashville hot chicken concept, signed an agreement for the Bakersfield, California, market. The deal is with local entrepreneur Gurdish Kaur . The agreement marks an expansion in the brand’s home state, which launched in Los Angeles in 2018. Today, the brand has five locations, with four in California and one in Texas.
