WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - An oversized load struck a traffic signal, damaging it heavily and forcing the move to an all-way stop at the intersection of Sunset and Seymour Highway according to City of Wichita Falls public information officer Chris Horgen.

The city is working to repair the intersection’s traffic signals, but the severity of the damage could slow the process. The city did not have an estimate on when the restoration would be complete.

“Divers are urged to use caution. Come to a complete stop and make sure turn lanes are open and clear before turning,” Horgen said.
