This October, experience the beauty of Maryland with locally-made goods, food, and music at the historic Elkridge Furnace Inn.

In an era of online shopping and lightning-quick delivery services, it's easy to forget the pleasure of shopping local. Not only is it fun to discover something unique that others won't have, but it also supports your community. That's why Cluster and Vine are back with another round of Made Marketplace: Elkridge Fall Festival!

Held at the historic Elkridge Furnace Inn, visitors can support small-scale artisans from all over Maryland and take in the lovely views of Howard County and the neighboring Patapsco River. Local history? Check. Beautiful scenery? Check. It meets all the requirements for the perfect fall festival!

Though only in its second year, Made Marketplace is destined to become one of our favorite regional events. Hosted on the Inn's Garden House grounds, guests can enjoy views of the stylish 18th-century mansion while browsing local, handcrafted goods by the state's best artisans. Food will be available for purchase by Taqueria La Patrona and WOLO Mobile Food Truck. If nothing else, the Elkridge Furnace Inn's kitchen will be open for business with garden-fresh entrees. Last year's menu had charcuterie boards, cheese plates, and pumpkin ravioli. Yeah, we'll have one of everything, please!

Admission is free, but for some bonus fun, there will also be beverage tastings. For only $15 you can sample some of the state's most acclaimed breweries, including Crooked Crab Brewing Company and Red Heifer Winery. If you're not sure ahead of time, you can buy them at the gate for $20. All tickets come with a wristband for entry and a commemorative drink glass. You can buy yours here.
