Pizza Today ranked the Hot 100 Independent Pizzerias of 2017, and six Colorado pizza shops have made the list! Check out the results to see if your favorite shop made the cut.
Every year, Pizza Today magazine is on the hunt for the largest independent pizza operations in the country. They achieve their results by sending out surveys to numerous independent pizzerias nationwide and use that data to determine which ones had the most sales for the year. Well, not to toot our own horn, but six Colorado pizzerias made the cut for the Hot 100 Independent Pizzerias of 2017! [caption id="attachment_24736" align="aligncenter" width="860"]
Cosmo's Pizza took the top spot for Colorado independent pizzerias at No. 24, with over $7.4 million in sales. Marco's Coal Fired Pizza ranked at No. 30 overall ($6.5 million). Krazy Karl's Pizza in Fort Collins was close behind at No. 43 ($5.1 million). Then Woody's Wood-Fired Pizza brought in $4.7 million and took the No. 48 spot, while Fargo Pizza Co. came in at No. 67 with $3.2 million in sales for 2017. Finally, Angelo's Pizza Parlor And-a More ranked at No. 99 and saw a crisp $2 million in sales.
