Effective immediately, the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office made adjustments to evacuation zones on Sunday afternoon. This is after firefighters made progress over the weekend on the Camp House Fire, which is at 31% containment as of Sunday morning . Zones 7, 8, and 13 have been downgraded from “Go” evacuation zones to “Set” for property owners and residents of these zones. Those who live in these zones can return to their property full-time, but they must maintain a “Set” status by having their evacuation plan in place and being prepared to evacuate if conditions worsen again. To access Zone 7, property owners are directed to access from the south on Hwy-44. To access Zone 8, property owners are directed to access from the south, using Hwy-44 and Two Harbors-Brimson Road. To access Zone 13, property owners are directed to access from the west on Brimson Road. The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind property owners to be cautious of hazards, maintain a safe speed, and remember that crews are still working in the area. The Evacuation Zones can be found at this link .
