A small plane was forced to make a gear-up landing at Centennial on Sunday morning.

A single-engine Cessna Cardinal landed on its belly at Centennial airport on Sunday morning. It was forced to make the gear-up landing after the landing gear didn't come down. https://twitter.com/FlyCentennial/status/840981134750146560 According to airport officials, there was only one person on board the aircraft. No one was hurt in the gear-up landing, and South Metro Fire Rescue responded.  As of right now, there has been no word on why the landing gear failed.
The runway was closed while crews worked to remove the aircraft, but has since reopened. Have you had a similar experience flying? Tell us about your worst (or best!) flying experience in the comments! Photo courtesy of Fox 31 News.
