SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE, Va. (WSET) — Smith Mountain Lake State Park is competing for the title of Best Lake Beach in the nation, according to USA Today.

The public is encouraged to cast their votes to help the park secure the top spot.

Voting is open once per day until Monday, June 2, at 11:59 a.m. EDT.

The winners will be announced on Wednesday, June 11, at noon EDT.
