(WAND) - A Winter Storm remains likely for Central Illinois heading into Saturday night through Monday Morning. Snow looks to start off light later on this evening before picking up pace going into Sunday morning. The National Weather Service has already issued a Winter Storm Warning for most counties. McLean, Ford, and Iroquois County remain under a Winter Weather Advisory due to lower amounts of snow that those communities can expect to receive. Heavy snowfall and quick accumulation will lead to deteriorating road conditions and major travel concerns. Some areas could expect some roadways, especially local and country roads, to become impassable, at times. Use caution and download the WAND Weather App to stay up-to-date on your forecast.
