The expansive, 20,000-square-foot exhibition, "Stampede: Animals in Art," will be stomping through the Denver Art Museum's Frederic C. Hamilton Building this fall.
On June 5, the Denver Art Museum (DAM) announced a new exhibit coming this fall. The exhibit, "Stampede: Animals in Art," will span across two floors of the Frederic C. Hamilton Building. Guests can expect to see more than 300 objects from collections across nine curatorial departments, giving them an up close look at animals in art form from different centuries and cultures. The museum will open in two waves: the first wave opening on September 10 and the second wave opening on December 3. "Stampede" will remain at the DAM until spring 2019. In order to showcase the massive amount of artwork, the 20,000-square-foot exhibit will take over floors three and four of the Frederic C. Hamilton Building.
