TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - State Bowling is complete, and quite a few high school teams local to WIBW’s viewing area left with some hardware. A full list of results for each classification can be found here . The Hayden boys are the 4-1A State Champions, ending the week with a series score of 3,666. Trevor Christy was the Wildcats' highest scorer, earning a 3rd place finish with a series score of 698. The Hayden girls finished 6th as a team in 4-1A. In 6A, the Washburn Rural girls finished 3rd as a team with a series score of 3,081. The Junction City girls finished 5th. The Washburn Rural boys placed 5th in 6A. The Junction City boys placed 9th. In 5A, the Seaman girls placed 3rd with a series score of 2,844. Shawnee Heights placed 6th (2,753). Emporia finished 7th (2,751). Also in 5A, but on the boys' side, Emporia finished 3rd with a score of 3,409. The Shawnee Heights boys placed 5th (3,340).
