ORLANDO, Fla. (WCIV) — The South Carolina Stingrays concluded their Florida road trip with a commanding victory over the Orlando Solar Bears.

The Stingrays secured a 5-1 win, with goals from Charlie Combs, Austin Magera, Justin Nachbaur, Romain Rodzinski, and Tyler Weiss.

Goaltender Mitchell Gibson made his first appearance since Dec. 21, 2024, stopping 25 out of 26 shots.

Combs opened the scoring in the first period after receiving a perfect pass from Josh Wilkins, marking his 16th goal of the season. Magera extended the lead with a shorthanded goal in the second period, assisted by Ryan Hofer.

The Solar Bears' Jaydon Dureau responded with a 5-on-3 goal, but Nachbaur quickly restored the two-goal advantage for the Stingrays. Rodzinski added his first goal as a Stingray late in the second period, and Weiss capped the scoring in the third period with his 15th goal of the season.

The Stingrays will next face the Savannah Ghost Pirates on Wednesday night at Enmarket Arena.
