WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A complicated forecast for today bears the possibility of significant severe weather, including the possibility of strong tornadoes, across much of Kansas. Several areas of possible severe storm focus are expected during the afternoon. KSN’s team of meteorologists are both in the Weather Center and on the road in Storm Track 3 to give you the latest updates on when and where the weather will impact. In Kay County, Oklahoma, several homes, buildings and power poles were damaged, and several miles of broken trees. The Kansas Department of Transportation has closed down Highway 160 and Junction 75 because of water over the roadway in Elk County.
