He will be 21 years, 9 months old on game day. But he isn’t the overall youngest Super Bowl player ever. That title goes to running back Jamal Lewis, who was 21 years and 155 days old when he played for the Baltimore Ravens that won the 2001 Super Bowl. Side note: Ben Roethlisberger was 23 when he became the youngest quarterback to win a Super Bowl while playing with the Steelers in 2006. BETTER WITH AGE? Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham could become Super Bowl LIX’s oldest player on Sunday. He is 36. However, he tore his triceps during a game in November and it wasn’t until the end of January that the Eagles opened a practice window for him. If Graham doesn’t play, then Chiefs long snapper James Winchester will take the title of oldest player in the game. He is 35, and teammate Travis Kelce’s elder by nearly two months. The overall oldest person to play in a Super Bowl is — you had to have guess this — quarterback Tom Brady. He was 43 when he led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to win Super Bowl LV. Incidentally, Brady will be one of Fox Sport’s announcers for Super Bowl LIX. Just an FYI, John Elway was 38 when he led the Broncos to victory in Super Bowl XXXIII. That was the record for oldest player at the time. Source: yardbarker.com ; nbcsportsphiladelphia.com , philadelphiaeagles.com ; sportsvideo.org .
