Airport parking and shuttle service Super Park has lost its contract with St. Louis Lambert International Airport, according to a notice filed with the state Wednesday.

Transportation company SP Plus, LLC, A Metropolis Company, told the state that it will lay off 130 local workers effective July 1 because the shuttle service contract between the airport and the company will not be renewed.

Affected workers include 82 drivers and seven facility managers, plus attendants, dispatchers and more. Some of the employees are represented by Teamsters Union Local 618, which has been notified.

It is unknown if the new company awarded the airport’s shuttle contract will hire current Super Park employees, Super Park wrote in its layoff notice.
