It's no secret that 2020 has been a rough year for restaurants. Despite setbacks that came from social distancing and dining restrictions, Denver's restaurants have found creative ways to go above and beyond, creating takeout experiences that are just as satisfying as dining in-person. If you're looking for a way to turn an evening at home into a memorable night during this holiday season, why not order takeout from one of your favorite restaurants as a show of support?

20 Mile Tap House

Having the best burgers in Parker means beating a lot of competition, but the 20 Mile Tap House manages it. This Parker gem isn't looking to reinvent the wheel, just make it extra delicious. In addition to their carefully curated selection of fine beers, they offer imaginative takes on "traditional" bar food. Gone are the days of eating soggy french fries before washing the sad affair down with a PBR. Instead, the 20 Mile Tap House has a menu loaded with all-stars. If you really need some excitement in your life, check out the Totchos. They're nachos that use tater tots instead of chips. (Yes, it's as amazing as it sounds.)

Hapa Sushi

The great thing about sushi is that it instantly turns any evening into an event, even if you're just eating it alone. Hapa Sushi is no exception, and their menu of decadent, imaginative sushi rolls offers plenty of things to fall in love with. As a general reference, the lewder that a roll's name sounds, the tastier that it is. Our personal favorite is their Booty Call Roll. This insane masterpiece features tempura asparagus, garlic sake butter, and a whole lobster tail. You read that correctly. 

Pizza Republica

If you're looking to seriously up your pizza game, it's hard to do better than Pizza Republica. They bring an old-school palate to all of their signature pizzas and prepare them using only high-quality ingredients. You can taste the difference in every crispy bite of their food. Feel all pizza'd out after 2020? Not to worry! Pizza Republica also has some incredible pasta dishes and salads that capture the best of Italian cooking.

Daughter Thai

Good, authentic Thai food is hard to find in Denver, which is why Daughter Thai is such a breath of fresh air. Or spicy air, depending on how you put it. True to tradition, Daughter Thai features some fantastic spicy dishes with a burn, unlike anything you'll find in American cooking. Their menu isn't all heat, however, as they've also got some imaginative takes on classic Thai dishes that combine the best of Asian and American cooking. 

Crush Pizza + Tap

Rounding out the pizza options on this list is Crush Pizza + Tap. It's no secret that we're huge fans of their entire deep dish menu, but they also have delicious wings as well! If you're looking for something that will partner well with a strong beer, or just want to experience the euphoria that comes from perfectly seasoned wing sauce, Crush Pizza + Tap is a must.
