The Metropolitan Police Department recently confirmed the arrest of a 23-year-old suspect, linked to a robbery incident that occurred in Northwest D.C. last summer. According to official reports , the robbery took place in the early hours of July 22, 2024, near the juncture of 9th Street and N Street.

Responding to a distress call around 4:42 a.m., Third District officers gathered evidence where the suspects, after demanding and obtaining property from the victim who complied, fled with the items in question.

The breakthrough in the case came after a detailed investigation by the detectives on the case. Through their efforts, Isiah Boyd, residing in Bowie, MD, was implicated in the crime. On a warrant for his arrest, Boyd was taken into custody without incident and has been charged with robbery.
