Syracuse (12-17, 6-12 ACC) battled Virginia Tech (13-16, 8-10 ACC) down to the wire on Saturday afternoon at Cassell Coliseum, with Jaquan Carlos delivering a clutch, contested three-pointer in the closing seconds of regulation to force overtime. However, the Hokies managed to edge out the Orange in the extra period, securing a 101-95 victory.
