The next time you make a Target run, you can add a few new items to the list. Target has just added a new line of store-branded pre-mixed cocktails that will be perfect for your next backyard barbecue.
The line is called "Casa Cantina" and includes Margarita and Pina Colada varieties. The drinks have alcohol in the mix so all you have to do is pour over ice and enjoy! Casa Cantina is available now in Target stores across the country that offer liquor.
As the pandemic raged on and people were unable to go to bars and restaurants, the demand for at-home cocktails increased. Buying and mixing individual cocktails can be time-consuming and expensive. Liquor brands have been slowly introducing all-in-one products that you can grab and go, and Target is jumping in with both feet!
"We know our guests are increasingly looking for convenient adult beverage offerings," said Rick Gomez, executive vice president, and chief food and beverage officer. "That's why we're excited to introduce Casa Cantina, an assortment of ready-to-drink craft cocktails that delivers great taste and high quality at an incredible value."
Casa Cantina comes in three versions: Strawberry Margarita, Classic Lime Margarita, and Piña Colada. Each one is made with quality ingredients like real fruit purees, agave, and no high-fructose corn syrup. Designed for a crowd, Casa Cantina is available in 1.5-liter bottles or 3-liter boxes (think boxed wine). Depending on where you live, you can order ahead and pick up your cocktails curbside or have them delivered to your home.
The full range of Casa Cantina is priced very reasonably at $9.99 for the 1.5-liter bottle and $17.99 for the 3-liter box. Casa Cantina began shipping to stores on June 12.
