WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Good morning Texoma! It’s a very comfortable start to our morning with temperatures starting out near 60 degrees across Texoma. It’s nice now, but it’s fixing to get pretty warm this afternoon. We’ll see sunny skies all day long while temperatures rise into the mid-90s across the region. 94 degrees is the forecasted high - 4 degrees short of tying the record high of 98 degrees. Western parts of Texoma will likely flirty with 100 degrees today. Tomorrow looks to be even hotter as temperatures rise into the upper-90s. I still expect us to stay a few degrees below the record high of 100 tomorrow. We’re still watching for storm chances that begin to kick up at the end of the seven day forecast. Storms are possible from Saturday - Monday, but the best chances come on Sunday into Monday. Severe weather is also possible with these storms.
