The Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) program provides cash assistance to families with children under 18 or under 19 if they are full-time high school students, who meet technical, income and asset requirements.

The program helps families become self-sufficient while allowing children to remain in their own homes.

Stimulus check: Who is eligible to receive a payment of $600 in February?

Anyone applying for TCA must have a Social Security number or proof of application for one, and must be a resident of Florida.

Pregnant women can also receive TCA, either in the third trimester of pregnancy if they are unable to work, or in the ninth month of pregnancy. Parents, children and younger siblings living together must apply together.

To receive the benefits of SNAP, applicants must follow a number of eligibility rules.

One of the most important stipulations is the time limit, as cash assistance has a lifetime limit of 48 months for adults. However, there is an exception for "child-only" cases, which have no time limit.

This distinction is crucial because it recognizes the unique needs of children in these situations. In addition, some beneficiaries must participate in work activities unless they qualify for an exemption.

Regional workforce boards play a key role here, providing the necessary services and activities to help people get or keep a job.

What days will this temporary assistance be deposited in January 2025?

TCA will be distributed through the EBT scheme and will be paid from the 1st to the 28th of each month, depending on the Florida case number assigned to you by the state.
