APPOMATTOX COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — A bridge replacement project may cause delays for drivers in Appomattox County beginning in February.

Spring Grove Road (Route 613) will be temporarily closed to traffic from Route 647 to the intersection of Route 608 due to a bridge superstructure replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The department said there will be signage indicating the closure and detour. The detour will go from Route 647 to Little Dogwood Road, to Hummingbird Lane to Stonewall Road back to Route 613.

VDOT said the section will be closed from February 10 through April 11.
