To be honest, I didn't know what to expect when we took it out of the box and blew it up for the first time. Our son had never slept in anything other than a crib or pack 'n play, and he greatly preferred the crib. Fortunately, he laid my fears to rest pretty quickly. He happily laid down on the seemingly comfortable mattress and slept through the night. We were at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort for two nights, and the first night was not a fluke! He slept soundly two nights in a row, granted he was probably exhausted, but still, I wholeheartedly recommend hiccapop's transitional bed.
