We're excited. The 2018 Aspen X Games has released their music lineup, and we are more than ready to rock out on the slopes.

Aside from the extreme winter sports the Aspen X Games is KNOWN for, each year they collaborate with Belly Up Aspen and come out with some huge acts to wrap up each night of high-flying winter sportage. The 2018 Aspen X Games will be no different -- and in the interest of honesty, I'm more excited for this year's than last. Last year was a good mix of older and newer music, featuring Bassnectar, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, and the Chainsmokers (gross). Respective fans of each act endured the negative-degree nights on Buttermilk Mountain to dance along with their favorite music. I have to say, as always, the Bassnectar crew was out in full head-banging force, with little to no concern for the freezing temperatures that would make your phone die no matter how much power you had. Those crazy bassheads rocked it out, and I will give them major props for that. [gallery size="large" ids="25797,25803,25808,25795,25804,25796,25811,25806"] BUT this year has its very own, very exciting lineup that we can't wait to catch for ourselves! After a day of watching talented Xtreme athletes literally risking their necks by flying tens of feet in the air, it's nice to dance out that pent-up spectator anxiety. This year's lineup will definitely provide some much needed release. So, who is on the docket? LCD Soundsystem, Marshmello, Martin Garrix, and M-E-T-H-O-D Man & Redman.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjBeby60ENE As always, admission to the actual games is free for all spectators to come and witness, but you do have to purchase tickets of your own to see the music on Buttermilk. True music fans can buy a four-show general admission pass for the mini-fest for $150 or a four-show preferred pass for $200, which includes preferred viewing, a private entrance to the venue, dedicated preferred restrooms, and the all-too-coveted cash bar.

A new feature for the ULTIMATE music fans who want to attend the 2018 Aspen X Games? A Diamond Music Club Pass. These golden tickets, if you will, will provide fans with access to a heated premium viewing tent, heated outdoor patio at the GEICO music stage, and complimentary beer and wine. As always, if you want to be ultra-fancy (and warm) during the games, you can grab the four-day platinum passes, which give you access to the Platinum Tower at the base of the SuperPipe. There you can get gourmet food, beer and wine, and of course, the best views of the games. Platinum pass holders also have access to the Diamond Club for all performances, as well as athlete meet-and-greets! But back to the music -- If you're only interested in seeing one or maybe two acts on the lineup, their respective dates are:

Friday, January 26: Martin Garrix

Saturday, January 27: Method Man & Redman & LCD Soundsystem

Sunday, January 28: Marshmello

As well as the performances at the bottom of Buttermilk, Aspen X Games artists will also perform smaller club shows at Belly Up. The 450-person venue will feature Method Man & Redman on Wednesday, January 24; LCD Soundsystem on Thursday, January 25 and Friday, January 26; Martin Garrix on Saturday, January 27; and Marshmello on Sunday, January 28. If you want to snatch up your tickets, stop on by the ESPN website and get them before they're all gone! Tickets went by fast last year, so it's key that you get ahead of the game. I would suggest the same for getting a hotel room or lodging for the weekend! Will you be attending the 2018 Aspen X Games? Did you attend in previous years? Share your photos with us!
