Whether you are a native, just moved here, or are looking to take out of towners through the city, I have discovered the absolute best way to tour the city - and you probably wouldn’t guess it.

Being a Denver native, I feel like I have seen and heard everything you can about the city. It wasn’t until my family from Pittsburgh came into town and wanted to explore Denver that I truly got to see what the city I lived in for years was all about. I didn’t explore the city on a bike or a bus, but on a moped. That’s right, a MOPED!   The way it works is you book the reservation online with how many people will be in your party, and they will contact you instantly. The person I communicated with was kind, and efficient. For all my Denverites, you meet them by the big blue bear downtown. This is where your tour begins and ends. [gallery ids="3012,3011,3010,3008,3007,3006,3005"] I know what you’re probably thinking, it’s crazy for them to let random people drive mopeds around the city, and not to mention the liability involved. It’s also crazy to say that you are on an actual Denver moped tour. Before you begin your tour, you sign waivers stating that you are responsible and all that jazz and then they make each person drive around the parking lot to make sure they are capable of driving the moped before the tour.   I think the most enjoyable aspect of going on a Denver moped tour is that you have complete control, and not to mention that it’s a blast to drive a moped! Aside from the extreme fun that comes along with zipping around, also comes the educational side of the tour. The tour guides, a husband and wife, were extremely knowledgeable and told us a lot about the city that I didn’t even know. They led us through parts of Rhino where there was amazing street art, all of which I had never seen. Therefore, I would highly recommend a Denver moped tour for anybody. Whether you live in the area, or you are visiting, this would be a great activity to do on a Saturday.
