The iconic Colorado Springs hotel keeps racking up the awards!
AAA released its 2019 ratings of hotels and resorts and, to no one's surprise, The Broadmoor received its 43rd consecutive Five Diamond Rating.
Now, what many may not realize is that the AAA rating program began in 1976 and The Broadmoor is the only hotel in North America to receive a Five Diamond Rating every single year since the program began!
So, how exactly does a hotel hold onto that impressive accolade each year? AAA spokesperson Skyler McKinley believes it's because The Broadmoor makes a huge effort to think about the Diamonds every year. Standards are sky high at the resort, which boasts impeccable service and high-class amenities. Guests of the hotel would be quick to agree; they've given The Broadmoor 4.5 star rating on Trip Advisor.
The hotel has 10 restaurants, five tennis courts, three swimming pools, two championship golf courses, and a movie theater. It's also a pet-friendly resort! Honestly, Colorado, what more could you ask for?
The Broadmoor isn't the only Colorado hotel to have earned Five Diamonds. The Little Nell in Aspen, as well as the Four Seasons and the Ritz-Carlton Denver locations, have been given the honor.
