If you love classic cars, live music, and wine, then make your way over to Harford Vineyard & Winery on May 6 for a Car Show and Cruise – this event is FREE!

The Car Show & Cruise Guide is the organizer of this event. This free publication aims to bring together classic car and truck enthusiasts within the tri-state area of Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. According to the Guide’s website,

“Classic Car and Truck folks are a unique breed of individuals. They are passionate in their endeavor, focused on preserving and enjoying the very best that historic automobile design had to offer. Old rides are more like rolling road art, and like artists who create in three dimensions, classic car [and] truck buffs create a vision of their own personal Dream Machines. If you have always had one, used to have one, or always wanted one, it’s a great hobby!”

So if this describes you and you have an affinity for learning as much as you can about classic rides, then this is the event for you. The Back Pages Band will be playing great hits from the Golden Decade of Rock (1963-1973). Meanwhile, the Harford Vineyard & Winery will be open to provide tastings and wine for purchase. Food will also be available on site, although you are more than welcome to bring your own. There will also be a raffle for a wine and cheese tasting, so bring your vino-loving friends, they’ll be entertained while you check out the rides.

Even though this event is FREE, donations will be accepted to benefit the Custom & Classic Car Educational Foundation. The goal of the nonprofit is to provide widespread education about the custom and classic car culture, and to encourage younger generations to get involved. They provide scholarships, while also working to bring attention to legislation that affects the hobby.

This is also a great alternative if you can’t make it to the “Cruisin’ Ocean City” car show, or are just looking for a smaller, more intimate venue for checking out classic cars. The event will run from 12 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, rain or shine.

Are you a classic car enthusiast? What is your favorite car? Will you be attending the Car Show & Cruise? We’re curious to hear how it went, so drop us a line in the comments below!
