For two weeks this summer, the Shakespeare Theatre Company will play Romeo and Juliet.
As part of their Free For All program, the Shakespeare Theatre Company will present the bard's famous play, Romeo and Juliet for two weeks beginning August 21. The catch? You have to win tickets via a lottery.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday -- 7:30 p.m. | Friday -- 8 p.m. | Saturday -- 2 p.m. & 8 p.m. | Sunday -- 2 p.m. & 7 p.m.

To win tickets, you can enter the online lottery beginning August 20, or line up at the box office two hours before each performance. A limited number of tickets will be available via each method for each performance.
The Free For All program started in 1991 with the goal of bringing Shakespeare to a wider and more diverse audience by offering a performance for free. Since then, the program has become a "much-loved Washington tradition," allowing people in D.C. to see some of Shakespeare's most beloved works, like Hamlet, King Lear, Henry V, All's Well That Ends Well, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, and many more!
The Shakespeare Theatre Company's Romeo and Juliet is directed by Alan Paul and features a wonderful and diverse cast that stars Sam Lilja and Danaya Esperanza as the play's doomed lovers.
