The US Energy Tour presents the Colorado Energy Festival! Join them in Greeley this May to celebrate American energy!
The US Energy Tour announced in a press release on April 3rd that Greeley Harley-Davidson presents the Colorado Energy Festival featuring legendary country icon Charlie Daniels Band, along with special guests Little Texas and Whiskey Rebellion. The festival will be on May 19 and 20! It will be held in Island Grove Regional Park inside the LiveStock Barn. The event will feature the Colorado Energy Golf Tournament and Gala, presented by the Colorado Petroleum Council and NGL Energy Partners. These will be hosted at Boomerang Links on May 19, and raised funds will go to Colorado veterans thanks to a partnership with the Weld Country Veterans Affairs Office and the Wounded Warriors Project. The tournament will feature two vehicle hole-in-one contests by Greeley Harley, with food and entertainment provided during the Gala. [gallery size="large" ids="13819,13820,13821"] On Saturday, May 20, Greeley Harley and Innovative Foods will present the Colorado BBQ Cook-Off, bringing Northern Colorado's best backyard chefs together to compete for the Colorado Crown! Their fate will rest in the hands of an expert panel of judges! At the same time, Greeley Harley will be hosting Bikes and Bikinis, so be sure to bring your favorite toys out! That night, enjoy American country legend Charlie Daniels Band along with special guests Little Texas and Whiskey Rebellion as they rock the night away at Island Grove Arena. Roland Marmon, the Regional Director of the US Energy Tour, said in a statement:The Colorado Energy Festival was created to celebrate the hard work of the American energy industry while bringing it to a community level."The US Energy Tour started hosting community-focused events in North Dakota in 2012. Their events are focused on highlighting the value of a strong industry in the communities they're a part of. They selected Greeley to host the Colorado Energy Festival because they felt that Greeley is a vital community within the Colorado Energy Sector.
