Sometimes it just takes one word to tell where someone is from.

In Arizona, the way you pronounce (or mispronounce) certain words like "saguaro" is a dead giveaway of who is new to the state.

But what other Arizona-specific words trip up non-locals? Reddit user Eirezona posed just that question to Arizonans on the social media platform.

"You can tell right away if someone is from Arizona by the way they pronounce 'Tempe' or 'Prescott,'" Eirezona wrote. "I won’t even bother to touch on 'saguaro' – that one’s too easy. What other clue words are there?"

Here are 14 words that true Arizonans know how to pronounce, according to Arizona Reddit users.
