Look to Amazon for your next kitchen gadget!
A friend invited me to a home party (featuring a popular company known for their kitchen gadgets, cookware, and recipes). The consultant demonstrated salad choppers that worked magic on (you guessed it) salad. Too many times I've purchased a prepared bag salad at the grocery store. These bag salads boast they're ready to toss and serve. Though I often find pieces of lettuce the size of Buicks. Enter the salad choppers to save the day.
But the home party consultant didn't stop there. These salad choppers could do more than chop salad. They're perfect for chopping meat. Seriously? I had to try this. Sure enough, the salad choppers sliced through the meat with ease ... saving me time and cutting down on the dishes I needed to dirty. Our family enjoys many recipes that cook meat all day in the slow cooker. Closer to mealtime, the recipe calls for me to remove said meat, shred with forks, and return to the slow cooker. I found I can use the salad choppers easily inside the slow cooker. Genius!
I was on a hunt for a less-expensive way to replace the salad choppers I've had for years. I turned to Amazon and searched. Sure enough, the Trudeau Toss and Chop Salad Tongs are available through Amazon. And, they're Prime!

Other than a difference in color, I can't find any differences between my original pair of salad choppers and these tongs. Well, there is a huge difference in price ... saving more than 50%!
