Looking for a fun new Englewood activity? Here’s a list of the top things to do in town!

Catch a concert at Fiddler’s Green

englewood activity Fiddler’s Green concerts are a staple Englewood activity for anyone living in the area. The amphitheater has awesome seating, lots of price options (general admission is usually pretty affordable, as far as concerts go!), and some really amazing performers on the schedule. If you’re looking to catch a concert here make sure to buy your tickets early, especially for a big-name performer! Tickets can go pretty quickly, or get really expensive the week before the show. If you’re going to an afternoon show, be sure to wear sunscreen - it is an outdoor amphitheater! It does also close down for the winter, but that’s probably for the best! I can’t imagine a performance is very good when the singer is shivering too much to sing!

...or maybe the Gothic Theater

englewood activity When it is snowy and freezing outside, an outdoor concert isn’t exactly the most appealing thing in the world. Luckily for those of us looking for a live show year-round, you can enjoy this Englewood activity indoors! The Gothic used to be a movie theater - in fact, it was the first one in Denver to show talkies. Now, it’s a popular music venue that brings out some fantastic artists. It’s a great place to catch an up-and-coming local band, or to hear a well-known performer croon. This is definitely a must-see in Englewood - who knows, maybe you’ll even discover your new favorite local band here!

Pretend you’re on the high seas at Pirate’s Cove

englewood activity Unfortunately for those of us who love the ocean, Colorado is completely landlocked. This Englewood activity is a great way to pretend you’re on the high seas, though! Pirate’s Cove is especially great for kids, but guests of all ages are sure to have a good time here! Relax in the lazy river, go down one of their water slides, or dig for buried treasure at the ‘beach’ (a sandy play area). Because it’s a water park, this location is only open during the summer season, but it’s a great place to go cool down on during a Colorado scorcher! Even in the middle of dry, landlocked Colorado, your dreams of being a pirate on the high seas can come true at Pirate’s Cove!

Try to break free at the Epic Escape Game

englewood activity Escape Rooms have become one of the latest crazes in the world, and we’re lucky enough to have one right here in Englewood! This Englewood activity is sure to challenge your brain and provide a solid hour of fun and endless hours afterward trying to figure out how else you could have solved it! There are four awesome rooms to try here. Challenge yourself as a forgetful inventor in The Inventor’s Garage, visit a bakery with potentially illicit dealings in Sweet Dreams, search for clues about your missing aunt in The Lost Continent, or pretend to be an alien in Escape Earth! Escaping is not guaranteed - having fun is. We recommend these games for children 12 and up, as they are fairly sophisticated, but younger children are absolutely still welcome.

Get artistic with the Museum of Outdoor Arts

englewood activity This Englewood activity is definitely unique! The Museum of Outdoor Arts is interested in redefining the ‘space’ of art. They also believe strongly in making art a part of everyday life. They have a museum inside the Englewood civic center that you can visit, as well as an outdoor collection throughout the city. It can be a really fun way to spend the day, starting at the indoor facility and then wandering the surrounding area finding the other sculptures around the city. With the amazing sculptures outside and the beautiful displays in the museum, this is a definite win for anyone looking to experience culture and art in a new and interesting way.

Enjoy some local liquors at Devil’s Head Distillery

englewood activity If you’re of age and enjoy sampling unique, small-batch liquors created right here in Colorado, then this Englewood activity is perfect for you. Devil’s Head Distillery is a small-batch craft distillery located right here in Englewood. It’s named after Devil’s Head Mountain, where the juniper-filled trails inspired the creators to craft a local, high-quality gin. They also have a tasting room open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Here, you can try delicious homemade cocktails made with one of the three liquors they produce on-site. You can also purchase their liquors at a number of locations around Denver, so be sure to check out their website and find out where you can get some delicious, homegrown liquor.
