From performing arts to gobs of St. Patrick's Day events, there's a wide variety of activities going on this weekend!

Maryland

Annapolis Restaurant Week | Various Restaurants, Annapolis | Friday – Sunday

Either eat at your favorite restaurant for a reduced price or discover a new favorite. Annapolis Restaurant Week wants to bring you some of the local favorites with a special menu. Baltimore St. Patricks Day Parade and 5K | Charles and Franklin, Baltimore | Saturday

Celtic Canter 5K and Irish Race | Downtown Historic Westminster | Friday

Frederick Restaurant Week | Various Restaurants, Frederick | Friday – Sunday

Maryland Wine Month | Various vineyards around Maryland | Daily

March is Maryland Wine Month! Venture out to the various vineyards and trails for self-guided tours! Trails include Antietam Highlands Wine Trail, Capital Trail, Carroll Trail, Chesapeake Trail, Cider Trail, Frederick Wine Trail, Legacy Wine Trail, Mead Trail, Piedmont Trail, and Patuxent Trail. Spend a day at one of the vineyards sampling wines and delicious food. Each winery offers a different experience, so call ahead to make sure that the place is right for you. Price varies on location. Indecent | Baltimore Center Stage, Baltimore | Daily

Henry IV Part 1 | Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, Baltimore | Daily

Come and witness the hilarious shenanigans of Prince Hal and Falstaff as they avoid the crown and get themselves into trouble. Hal’s maturity must be tested before he can be handed the crown. Drawing in Museums: The National Gallery, Freer Gallery, and American Art Museum | The National Gallery of Art | Saturday

Queens of Egypt | National Geographic Museum | Daily

The first exhibit after the temporary shutdown is being restored for the entire month of March. Witness the 18th and 19th dynasties of ancient Egypt and learn about the daily lives of queens such as Nefertiti. United Airlines Rock N' Roll Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K | National Mall | Friday

Head on down to the National Mall to compete for the finish line. This annual Rock N' Roll Marathon features bands along the course cheering on the participants. There is nothing better than celebrating maple syrup. The annual event for Highland County celebrates the process of making maple syrup. Based on Toni Morrison's first novel, the production explores race and class during the post-Great Depression era. The play covers the dynamic struggles with racism and how to overcome them.
