The cold and flu season is quickly approaching! It's that time of the year where that stubborn head cold or stomach flu flies around your workplace and there is no getting around it. People's number one reason is that they did not want to miss any time off work, time that would otherwise take up their vacation days or prohibit them from getting paid. Make sure that your body is full of the good vitamins to help keep it happy and healthy. After all, a healthy immune system is your body's first line of defense.If you are very sick, stay home at least for 24 hours to rest. Ask your boss if you can work from home if needed.
Studies show that if you come to work when you are sick, it takes 25 percent longer to get rid of your infection because germs are constantly floating around the environment. It is so important to take care of your health and protect those around you from getting an infection as well! So make sure you're taking the proper precautions to keep everyone sick-free.
