Washington D.C. is not only home to the capitol of the United States, but also the Madame Tussaud museum. In case you have no idea what I’m talking about, the Madame Tussaud museum is a museum that has countless wax recreations of famous people from over the years. In fact, this art has been around for 200 years now and is still as popular today as it was back in the day!
The figures at this location that are the most popular include Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Zac Efron. I know what you’re thinking. Why would you pay to see recreations of celebrities that you might not even care about? The reason why it gains so much attention is because the wax figure is so articulate to every detail, that it practically is like you are standing in front of that person in real life. In fact, it is almost scary how real it looks!
The Madame Tussaud museum is located right off of 1001 F street and is open from 10-6pm everyday. If you’re looking for something different to do, I definitely recommend this. Then you can say you practically met the president of the United States!
