MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin are investigating an incident where 27 buses were damaged with graffiti.

According to the Madison Police Department , an employee arrived at the First Student Bus Department, located along the 200 block of West Beltline Highway, on Thursday, May 1, and found several buses were graffitied.

Officers say that someone used black spray paint on the buses between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Much of the graffiti made statements such as “Free Palestine” and “Stop the War.”

Employees at the First Student Bus Department estimate around several thousand dollars of damage was caused by the graffiti.

No arrests have been made at this time, and anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the Madison Police Department at (608) 266-6014.
