The Rockies' Nolan Arenado, DJ LeMahieu, and Gerardo Parra have been named as finalists for Rawlings' Golden Glove awards.

While the Rockies' season didn't pan out exactly as we had hoped, three of the players are being recognized for the hard work they put in this season. Third baseman Nolan Arenado, second baseman DJ LeMahieu, and left fielder Gerardo Parra have all been named finalists for Rawlings' Golden Glove awards.   • Pitchers -- must have pitched in at least 138 innings by his team's 138th game;
  • Catchers -- must have played in at least half of his team's games by his team's 138th game (a minimum of 69 games);
  • Infielders and Outfielders -- must have played in the field for at least 698 total innings through his team's 138th game: this boils down to playing in the field for approx. 7.5 innings per game in approx. 67 percent of his team's games by his team's 138th game;
  • Infielders and Outfielders -- must have at least 698 total innings played in order to qualify for the specific position where he played the most innings
Golden Glove winners are voted on by managers and coaches in each league, with the DRS (defensive runs saved) making up 25 percent of the vote. To view the full list of finalists for the award, you can click here. Good luck, boys! And thanks for a great season! We'll see you in 2018!
