Its 2016 and movies have been around for over 100 years. The first talkie was in 1920 and movies have only progressed in almost every aspect since. Well for most movies anyway. Even though we've had tons of change and progression in films, we still can't help ourselves when it comes to originality or lack there of). Remakes run rampant and weather or not they are better than the original is up for debate. Regardless, heres some then and now versions of some of the more popular remakes.
Lou Ferrigno graced the silver screen as The Incredible Hulk back in 1977 - We're more familier with the mostly-CGI version of today's Mark Ruffalo's Hulk today.

The Dracula we all knew and loved, creepy, suductive and lusting for blood is a far cry from today's wartorn badass. While the 2014s version is a closer (in Hollywood terms) adaptation to Vlad the Impailor... but still we miss the capes.

King Kong was a feature film feat in Hollywood back in 1933. The thought of a giant gorilla terrorizing NYC became an unforgettable movie classic. The 2005 version proved CGI magic, putting the classic to shame with realistic ape paws and tons of special effects.

The original Evil Dead has a special place in my heart as one of the first horror films I've ever watched. Creepy, campy, and especially chock-full of behind-the-times animation. The newer version stayed so true to the original film its impressive.
Wow. Just wow. Do you see that leotard? Gold. Cinimatic gold.

So even the 2001 Oceans 11 is a classic in most people's eyes. Regardless, the OLDER 1960s version was of course filled with that times hottest, smoothest and trickiest male actors.

The First Clash of Titans was made in the 1980s. The film awed audiences with its terrifying depiction of the Kraken and Medusa. The new(er) 2010 rendition follows a similar story line, but with a LOT more CGI and production.
