Tiger Woods has announced that he will play in this year’s National at the TPC of Potomac.
Fourteen-time major champion Tiger Woods has recently revealed that he will play in his foundation’s event, held this year at the TPC Potomac, for the first time since 2015. Woods has won the event, formerly known as the AT&T National and the Quicken Loans Invitational, now as The National, twice.
The National is an official PGA Tour sanctioned event and an invitational that typically draws many of the world’s best players. This year’s National will be held during the week of June 25.

The event promises to be very exciting as Tiger Woods is in the midst of his latest comeback effort, which, thus far, has yielded consecutive top five finishes in the PGA's last two events. Woods currently has 79 PGA Tour victories, having last won at the 2013 at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational.
