TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – Police say a local man was arrested Saturday following an early morning shooting southwest of Topeka. The Topeka Police Department (TPD) announced in a press release that officers were called just before 1 a.m. on Feb. 22 to the 3300 block of Gage Road on reports of a shooting. Officers arriving in the area found one person with life-threatening injuries who was taken to a local hospital for care.
