PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — The owners of Tortilla Flats in Providence announced they are planning to sell the business.

Owner Joanne Vincent said she and her husband Mat are looking to retire after nearly 30 years.

Both started as servers at the restaurant.

The pair said they are keeping the building, but selling the restaurant, the equipment and the recipes.

The restaurant on Hope Street has been a staple on the East Side for more than 40 years.
