Raleigh's newest Trader Joe's location opened in north Raleigh on Friday.

It's in the Brennan Station shopping center off Creedmoor Road. This is Raleigh's second Trader Joe's location.

The doors opened at 9 a.m.

People have been waiting on this grand opening for months. Employees were working inside the store Thursday getting everything prepped to welcome shoppers.

This new store opening could bring even more traffic to an area that’s already congested.

Creedmoor Road is one of the busiest thoroughfares in north Raleigh. Drivers said they are prepared for the backups.

"I'm not worried about the traffic," said Gabor Nyeste. "You got traffic everywhere, no matter where you go."

Nyeste arrived at the store on Thursday excited to shop, only to find out the store's grand opening was actually on Friday. A WRAL News crew told him that he was a day early.
