A Maryland man was too "Speed-y" in his assessment of the Keanu Reeves lookalike he ran into at the Maryland Bike Show.
It is always exciting to run into celebrities—especially when they agree to take a picture! Unfortunately, a man at the Maryland Bike Show was too "Speedy" in his assessment when he posted on Facebook about meeting Keanu Reeves at the motorcycle event.
The post itself depicts a man standing next to the faux Reeves with the caption, “Maryland Bike Show this past weekend with Keanu! Apparently he restores antique bikes and is a Trump supporter!” The Facebook post quickly went viral on Twitter, leading to a massive amount of jokes and memes.

Perhaps it was just a glitch in The Matrix, because the John Wick actor is indeed a famed motorcycle enthusiast and has been known to be very approachable. And to play Devil’s Advocate, the man in the photo looks more like Reeves than some people on Twitter are giving him credit for.
Luckily, keeping with the spirit of one of Keanu’s most famous lines, people are being "excellent to each other.” Twitter has been abuzz with good-natured memes about The Replacement Keanu Reeves.

Thankfully, things haven't gotten to a Breaking Point in terms of the nastiness that Twitter is prone to. All of the jokes are directed at the humor of the mistaken identity, not poking fun at the innocent Facebook poster.
