Two people are dead and two are recovering in a hospital after a shooting broke out in Kansas City, Kansas Saturday night.

KCK police say they were called to the area of N. 70th Terrace and Garden Drive - just south of the intersection of State Avenue and Turner Diagonal Parkway - around 9 p.m. to investigate reports of a shooting.

Officers arrived in the area to find two men with gunshot wounds lying outside and two other wounded people.

The men died at the scene, but EMS took the other two victims to the hospital. Police say they will likely survive.

There is no information on a suspect available.
