These two places in Montgomery County offer some amazing light displays for you to view and enjoy this holiday season!

The Mormon Temple Festival of Lights | 9900 Stoneybrook Dr., Kensington

[gallery columns="2" size="large" ids="6276,6278,6279,6281"] Located in Kensington, this display contains over 450,000 lights! According to LDS.org, "More than one million visitors, including international diplomats, the media, and representatives of various faiths, have attended this event since it began in 1978." The Festival of Lights at Mormon Temple runs from November 30 to December 31. They also have a Nativity scene each evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m, and live music beginning at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Admission is FREE. Learn more about this event by checking out the LDS website.

Seneca Creek State Park Winter Lights | 11950 Clopper Road., Gaithersburg

[gallery columns="2" size="large" ids="6283,6284,6285"] The Seneca Creek State Park Winter Lights features animals, castles, and designated areas named Winter Woods, Teddy Bear Land, Victorian Village, the North Pole, among others. Enjoy over 370 illuminated displays and 65 animated vignettes! It's open from November 24 to December 31, but please note that it is closed on Christmas Day. The Seneca Creek Festival Lights display are available to view on Sunday to Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Prices are $12 per car, SUV, or mini-vans on Tuesday to Thursday, and $15 per car, SUV, or mini-vans on Friday to Sunday. Limos and 20-Passenger Vans are $20. Mini-buses are $30 and regular buses (30 seats or more) are $70.
