This online shopping app/website is a game changer if you really, really love designer clothing, but it isn’t really in your budget to be dropping $1,000 on a pair of Gucci shoes or a Stella McCartney handbag on a regular basis. Its entire purpose is to sell designer items at outlet prices. That being said, there's a good variety of designers in terms of style. The landing page features current sales going on -- and make sure you check it near the end of the week (think Thursday or Friday), because almost always there will be an extra 30-percent-off (sometimes 40-percent) sale.
All that being said, the best way to use this site is to buy those pieces that you know will stay in your closet for a long time -- investments, let’s call them. Spring is the more down-to-earth sister of The Outnet. While it does have plenty of high-end items to choose from, it also has some more reasonable options, including up-and-coming and affordable designers. It’s a great way to try out a new label without much investment. As a bonus, you can also shop home décor items. The best aspect of the app is its very extensive sale section -- you could browse for hours and hours.
It’s also very easy to curate a favorites list. All you have to do is press the heart button at the right hand corner of each product picture, and that piece will immediately save to your wish list. Other features include keeping you updated when an item on your wish list went on sale (including one that’s already been sale ... there's nothing better than an even bigger sale, is there?), weekly edits, and an inspiration board tailored directly to you based on pieces you’ve bought or favorited in the past.
